My Euro Tour 2006: Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, Paris, Mont Saint Michel

We have chosen the hotel directly in the castle. Expensive for us, but we've made a decision that the "life is given once"...The hotel was good... It's more than hundred years, and there are many portraits of celebrities which stayed in this hotel on walls.

Certainly the Abbay is one of the great miracle of the World kept since ancient times. Twice in a day the water rises and floods around territory - the bewitching sight!
It is interesting to survey the Abbay at night when there are only few tourists, it's a very silently and beautifully.
We bought products, wine and water on the continent: went for two kilometers to market, and it was interesting to see the Mont Saint Michel from the coast. I'll never forget as we went to the hotel at night and the castle appeared gradually in the night light.
We lived there two nights, and in the morning of the second day we have gone to Pontorson - the town connecting Normandy and Bretagne. And from there we gone to Saint-Malo. We liked traditional cuisine of Brittany and Normandy, and also apple cidre. Even for such short time - only one day, we had unforgettable impressions of stay there. We also have visited Cancale only to eat the real oysters...

We have made a magnificent trip. Almost that we have planned all was happens, and unexpectedness, for example Madonna :).
